We sing together in joy and pride
Udayan Public School is the best in the whole world wide
A thousand voices in joyous song
We are proud of our school to which we belong.
Every experience, great or small
Has taught us to answer duty's call
We survive to serve others
Is worth more than greed or self.
It is here that we learnt to laugh and play
We were molded exquisitely every day
The Master potter with a hand so fine
Our school has shown us how to shine.
When we embark on the life we have been sought.
We will uphold the truths we have been taught
Every loyal to our school and our service to give
We will make the world a better place to live.
The school follows CBSE's semester system with two term-end exams in September and March, along with periodic tests. Promotion is based on overall performance, including academic and non-academic work. Absence from exams requires prior approval, and results are final. Neglecting non-academic tasks may affect promotion.
Students must have 75% attendance to appear for exams. Absences must be recorded and signed by a guardian. A fine of Rs. 5 per day is charged for unexcused absences. Absenteeism beyond 15 days without notice results in removal from the school roll. Irregular attendance may lead to dismissal.
**Disciplinary Action Overview:**
- **Yellow Card**: Issued for habitual tardiness or improper dress, assigned by the House Warden/Discipline In-charge.
- **Blue Card**: Given for careless academic work, requiring daily signatures from the subject teacher until discontinued.
- **Red Card**: Given for serious offenses (e.g., disobedience, lying). The student must wear a red shirt and is denied privileges for a week. Accumulating three Red Cards in a year may lead to expulsion.
The institution focuses on the holistic development of students, blending academic excellence with discipline, self-reliance, and healthy personality traits. By fostering a conducive environment, it aims to nurture students with Indian heritage for their personal growth and the betterment of society.
The fee structure is periodically revised due to rising maintenance costs. Fees are due by the 10th of each month, with late fees applied thereafter. After three months of non-payment, students may be removed from rolls. Re-admission requires payment of admission fees and other charges. Demand notes are issued for convenience.
